In 2015, after joining his local secondary school, a student from Northampton, sat down at his desk to work on his homework. Working on an extremely difficult piece of homework, he decided that action needed to be taken. In 2016, he decided to found a group which went by the name "No Homework Northants", a move he hoped would force his school to take action.
